Development Charges Town of Collingwood


A public meeting was held by the Town of Collingwood in July to consider new Development Charges.   The Town is considering raising development charges by approximately 30% on single family homes to $30,715.00 These fees are applied to new  homes in Collingwood. Growth Plan

On May 2, 2019 The Province announced a new Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe.  First tabled in 2006 the Growth Plan sets out a Provincial vision for the management of growth in the Golden Horseshoe and area by focusing on urban growth, more compact development and protecting natural features and agricultural lands.
