On December 20, 2021, Council endorsed the recommended next steps to advance the Study
and move toward the completion of a servicing capacity allocation framework for the Town of
Collingwood prior to the expiry of the Interim Control By-law No. 2021-024, as amended.

For each of the three products that collectively form the servicing capacity
allocation framework, distinct follow-up actions were ratified:
– the proposed official plan policies be incorporated into the first draft of the Town’s updated
Official Plan;
– a statutory public meeting be scheduled and notice provided in accordance with the
Planning Act for the proposed zoning by-law amendment;
– the revised Servicing Capacity Allocation Policy be endorsed for the purpose of a second
round of public consultation.
